I know someone that is always on her cell. I work with her. The ring tone is hip-hop or rap (I don't know the difference), but it's loud! Then there's the texting all day, too and the photos to share. I don't have that many friends to talk to that much.
How about the time I went to see my goddaughter play hockey and the guy behind me got a call and proceeded to discuss business through the entire game.
Yes. I would like to break their phones or throw them down the toilet. There must be some kind of universal phone etiquite!

First of all "grapelady"... You have some serious issues to work out! First of all it's just wrong to throw someone's phone away. Second, it just isn't right to talk about your stepson on the internet like that! I'm an adult stepson as well with a #%*@! of a stepmom and had to move back home for personal reasons - give him a break or talk to him - You're the adult!
As far as the phone question, I am on the phone a LOT due to my job and being self-employed. I use nearly 3500 minutes a month... but I always use a bluetooth headset if I'm driving and have the curtiousy to turn the phone off or on vibrate if I'm somewhere like the theater...
Luckily, it sounds like there is a new law going to be passed. You can currently buy "kits" to make a cell-phone jammer, it jams all CDMA and GSM frequencies so that no one can accept a call ;) It's small enough to fit in a pack of cig's so you can slide it right in your pocket and enjoy the movie!
The legalities of this are different in each state right now, some don't care and others will lock you up for it (better check!). However, the law that is being passed will allow theaters, libraries, or any other business to use them permanently.
My only concern about that is, and the reason it hasn't passed yet is that someone like a doctor on call could be in that theater when a dieing patient is waiting!!

Many Times! Like when I am at a theatre watching a movie and there is a smuck getting a call every 5 minutes and then talking to whomever like he is outside. Don't they pay attention when just before the movie starts it tells them to turn them off? Of course not, obviously they think the rules don't apply to them.
Also when you are at your childs first play at school and it is like you are surrounded by other parents that would rather talk on their cell phones rather than pay attention to their children in the play. If that is how much they pay attention to them in a little play that they are doing for the parents, can you imagine how much attention they give them at home?
I am sick of retards using their phones when driving. Half the people driving nowadays should be retested on their driving already. We don't need some snot nosed kid that just got their license looking down while driving in busy traffic while he is texting on his phone. GEEZ! WCan someone please stop the insanity.
So yes, there are many times I would like to grab ahold of those clueless peoples phones and do bad things to the phones... and to those rude, obnoxious people that don't seem to have any common courtesy or brains.

Some people are definitely flashy about their mobile phones, but most aren't. As for out-of-matter talking or ratchet-jawing, they have the perfect freedom to do so and we can't do anything about it. I only find those guys irritating who just bang your head open with all the features that their mobile phone (and especially the ones that your phone hasn't got).

the only real times are if ive met some1 for coffee or something, n they spend the whole time on the phone (unless obv. its an emergency), or when ive been at pony club teaching and some1's phone keeps goin off with texts. i think i find texts more annoying as i find the person tends to try and uphold a conversation with you but they keep drifting off/forgetting what they were saying mid-sentence/or worse still, changing what they were saying mid-sentence all because someone has just texted them.
the times i use mine are if i ring my partner to find out if he's got anything for tea before i go occasionly, but really its more for emergency use especially whilst im horse riding.

I also have a motorola rizr z3. T-cellular sevice. i like my telephone, it may carry alot of songs, it particularly is sturdy cuz i like music. Takes great p.c... i like the type, its a slider. it particularly is kinda falling aside, the buttons are falling out. It ain't my fault, they used some style of sticky substance to hold down the navigational button and the midsection button to the telephone. the midsection button is someplace, who's attentive to? i will do devoid of that. do you be attentive to how many situations the navigational button has long gone lacking? I might desire to tear down the situation to hunt for the piece of button! T-cellular is costly, i don't be attentive to approximately different amenities. T-cellular is all i be attentive to and that i cant look ahead to my contract to end. My rant is over now lol

It annoys me the most when i am at a nice restaurant with my fiancee and someones phone keeps ringing loudly and then they answer it and talk over everyone. How rude! If i wanted to hear from your mother i would have called her myself!! Or for god's sake put the damn thing on vibrate and then go outside to answer it. People have no manners anymore.

I have one and it rings about once a month. About 10 years ago I was working in a shop and a sales rep left his on the counter for about an hour while he walked around the shop, doing who knows. It didn't stop ringing, so eventually I switched it off, and threw it in the bin. He never asked about it, and I didn't mention it

I know exactly what you mean! Sometimes I just flat out hate them. My fiancee get's like 500 calls an hour, so when we're trying to have a quiet eening at home, or watch a movie, or sleep in-it's impossible.
Sometimes I want to throw it far away, or flat out throw it away!
