We all do different things....

Some start schools while teaching the Word of God...

Some teach English in private schools to support themselves while having Church service and Bible study.

Some concentrate only on doing the teaching of the "Word" (if they have enough income they can do that).

Not all Missionaries feed the hungry or clothes the poor, it depends on what their Ministry is that God has called them to.

We have a Radio program on the weekends where we teach, and share Gospel Music.

If someones asks me to preach or speak at their Church, School or ceremony we do that (FREE) we take no offerings or tithes from the local people here, and only have asked for Cd's from Gospel Artists once in the Last 4 years.

We also conduct Home services, funerals, and counseling.

God has provided me a small monthly pension that we minister with and live from.

So you see not All Missionaries live the same way but the goal is to tell others about the Saving Grace of Jesus Christ.

God bless...Rev. Roy Ross

Authentic Christian missionaries teach and baptize, in the name of God, so that souls might be saved.

They do this because Jesus Christ commanded the original Christians (the apostles) to do so, and the job isn't finished yet.

Mat 28:18 And Jesus coming, spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and in earth.
Mat 28:19 Going therefore, teach ye all nations: baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.
Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.

The above biblical passage is known as "the great commission" and it will not be completed until Jesus Christ returns in glory, at the end of the age.

Everyone has their own ministry and most react to situations as necessary.
The ultimate goal is to introduce non believers to Jesus.
But like here there is so much need to deal with you have to get the message through by example.

Why do they do those things, it is not of God's will. Jesus did the will of God, not feed the poor. If you believe in Jesus you do not have to worry about tomorrow. You will always have the poor but the poor do no have faith in God, they turned away from him. God is just not fair.
