Hi all, just stumbled to this website http://freemap.iwantto.us
it has a map of lots of giveaways. What I like about this is that the giveaways are plotted according to the location, so I can look for giveaways near my home.
So, my question is:

Are the giveaways legits?

I tried the website and is a great Mashup implementation, it helped me to find thing near my neighborhood. Regarding if the giveaways are legit, I think all are legit and just have to deal it with caution.

I haven't used this website. However, I've been using Freecycle (http://www.freecycle.org/) for a while with great results (both being able to give away and get things).
There's no catch. It's a way to avoid having stuff go to the landfill. One person's junk is another's treasure.
