I feel your pain. The answer is: They just want the YA points.
Well, that and because it's so easy to be rude when they can get away with it. No one to police them. Perhaps mom should look over their shoulder more often?

It depends very much on the question. Some questions are just unanswerable because they are silly, for others there is not a good and sound explanation. In general I try to reply the best I can, but I know that some days I am not really fit for it and some questions just trigger my sarcasm into action.

That is indeed in the nature of the answerer to do such stupid thing. They do it when they wanna show themselves superior to yourself and back themselves ad right to free expression.
I find this very badly in horoscopes section everytime soemfellow pops up just to say that he does'nt believe in astro

Why feel bad abt that. Asker job is to pick their best answer and usually they pick the best not because the true one but the one that the asker agreeing . Why bother to ask then??
