Yes. They sell remote CD players that go under the rear "dash" inside the trunk. All you have is a remote that is between the seats or can be dash mounted and you select the disc you want to play from the drivers seat. Of course the car has to have speakers installed.

If you have an amplifier and speakers, anything is possible. I have a Zune and am able to use it as a source unit on my boat. It has volume control, equalizer, a built in radio, and you can also connect the videos to a larger screen with the right cables. Anything is possible these days, and that's not the first time that I've heard that question. =-)
