I have 7 that are house broken. And I have a litter of five week olds that are using peepads quite well right now. This breed is one of the easier ones to housebreak in my experience.

Absolutely. I have 3, my sister has one, so does my Grandma and my dad (6 all together). All are house broken. Chihuahua's are not the easiest dog to potty train. Most do not like the cold or when it rains. I have always thought the crait training is the best. My puppies would chew up the wee pads, so they did not help much. I would give treats after they would go outside. They pick up after awhile.

Consistency, Patience and timing my dear. Control his water and food. They poop about an hour after eating and pee about 10 minutes after drinking. Crate training is an absolute necessity.

Absolutely. Just takes patience and a good training strategy.
