Paulette Carlson stopped singing for Highway 101 in 1991 for five years and there was a compilation of the top hits from 1990 on back. Are you familiar with her voice (Cry Cry Cry, Whiskey If You Were a Woman, The Bed You Made For Me)? Was it Paulette or the girl they sent in to replace her? It would help greatly in narrowing this down.
