In the realm of truth:
There is no such thing as mental illness or any kind of pschological defects. ALL problems are caused by either Satan (in most cases) or mankind. Regardless of which has caused the problem just know that no problem is too big or too small for God. Mental hospitals are fillled with people who are oppressed and posessed by the devil.
I pray for you that God bless you and your dreaming.

The Bible indicates that God revealed His will to selected people through dreams or visions in Scriptures such as Genesis 8:12; 37:5-10; 1 Kings 3:5-15; Daniel, chapters 2 and 7; Matthew 1:20; 2:13,19; and Acts 10:9-16; 16:9. God may communicate through dreams or visions even today, but we need to carefully check any such guidance we receive with Scripture and godly counsel to be sure it is from the Lord. Anything which contradicts Scripture is not from God. Our minds and even Satan are capable of producing great deception in such subjective areas. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 shows that God has revealed His will to us primarily through His Word. It says, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

Indeed my friend! and here in my country...we know that psychologists say things based on thier outside observation...they are stating facts. It is called facts because they find reasons to everything they say to make it justified. And most of them are besed on the real situation of the community...or the kind of environment you are in.While though these psychologists are only humans..they are taught not to rely on biblical preachings for all we know that the thigns in the bible had happened very long time ago...
It is partly true that some I repeat, some of our dreams are created by our brain due to stressful activities we had during the day, or might be dperession, over joy,and the like. And it is partly true that dreams are not really created by God but are Ways of God to let us know about something.

What's amazing is that psychologists are either revered or feared. Spiritual explanations are either revered or feared. They actually explain each other and clearly our brain activity is what enables us to think, process information, and even dream. If you believe that you were made by God then your brain was created by God, ergo your dreams come from God and then they're also created by yourself, as well. We have free will and we have certain things we ponder over or wish to accomplish in our lifetime.
I believe our dreams are a marriage of our own condition and our spiritual connection. Some people are open to positivity and others allow themselves to be open to negativity. I don't give evil a name, like 'Satan'. This serves no purpose for me just as my viewpoint of God is not gender-based for me, it's energy-based. By removing the label and gender-specifics of both, I am able to recognize evil as well as goodness in numerous places. I am able to hear truth and fabrications because I am not focused on one perspective.
Evil is what enables you to recognize goodness, so it has its place in the universe. This world is very much a balancing act, and so are our dreams.
People who cling to strictly religious explanations of phenomena over scientific explanations will eventually hit a brick wall. The two schools of thought have to meet eventually and people who don't think that way don't like to ultimately see this, and usually, the more hostile they get, the more they see that this is so and don't want that to be the case. It's the same thing as a scientist who finds his spirituality on his deathbed...

Everyone knows that most dreams are just dreams... the normal ones created by our brains.
But when the dreams are weird, we sometimes believe there is some significance in them.
Especially when there are numbers appearing, everyone will rush to buy the lottery.

I personally totally disagree with the priest. Here's a more potent question for you: If God is Omnipotent, why would there be a satan?
