How sadistic and nasty of a person would you have to be to believe that millions of people, no matter how good they were in life, but they did not belong to the Christian religion, will be spending an ETERNITY IN AGONY, suffering the most inimaginable TORTURES, just because they were not a Christian? How is that just that jews, buddhists, muslims, agnostics, deists, atheists, tao will be spending an ETERNITY OF AGONY?.
IS THIS YOUR IDEA OF LOVE CHRISTIANS?
It seems that you are a bunch of sadistic people to even conceive of a God that set up a torture chamber for non believers in your cult. How sick are you?

This is what happens when we visualize a localized phenomenon of the past in the context of a modern civilization, at the universal scale.Don't blame Christians for this or anything ,as they just inherited it.I don't think any sensible Christian would honestly support such an idea in a private conversation,Same applies to other religions as well. They have been caught in a time warp and their religious leaders don't have the wisdom and mettle to resolve these outmoded and even funny sounding contents of their holy texts. One sensible way could be to declare all holy books as historical documents and therefore not answerable in any way to modern thought or questions.

Hi alex. This is the second question about Hell which is completely wrong. So i will ask again. How on Earth did you come to the conclusion that people who are not Christians are going to spend eternity in agony ,suffering the most unimaginable tortures just because they were not Christian ?
Who or what is filling your head with this complete and utter nonsense ? Other Christians ? God wants every person He ever created to be with him in Paradise otherwise He would not have bothered to create them in the first place. You only go to Hell if you have deliberately offended God with mortal sin. Not being a Christian is not a mortal sin.Being an Atheist is not a mortal sin.

Alex,

God is love.

And He is just (which means fair).

He will judge each of us at the end of our days.

And He will judge us fairly.

However, if you are attacking His Son Jesus and those who love and follow Him...perhaps you should rethink that process?

Jesus has done nothing wrong.

Learn about Him - not Christians (who as humans are flawed).

It is not too late, Alex.

The thief on the cross next to Jesus accepted Him moments before his death - and Jesus promised him Heaven.

Give Jesus a chance. He promised that the Holy Spirit would come to you if you asked.

Try it once.

Ask Jesus for the Holy Spirit.

Your life will be changed for the (far) better.

And the eternal reward will last trillions of years.

Blessings, Alex.

I wish you a wonderful journey.

Well, I have to agree. I find the concept of a "Loving Father" and someone who would send a person to hell irreconciable. I think we all have to sort this out for ourselves. Personally, I think people who call themselves Christians and follow along so completely, without thinking, are doing a great injustic to themselves and the world. One MUST study and study to understand. Even then, we must explore and study to reach a conclusion we truly believe in. Just reciting bible passages is for people who are sheep and never question the lessons they learn from their religious teachers.

Actually, not sick at all. But, thanks for asking.

God has given every single person the gift of free will. We are each able to do and say as we please. However, along with the ability to do what we want, we also must accept responsibility for our words and deeds.

The "big one", of course, is whether or not we enter into the covenant of the New Testament for the salvation of our eternal souls.

You know the outcome of BOTH decisions. You already know that God is firm. Do you think railing against God will somehow bend God to YOUR will? Are you desperately looking for "Door #3"?

It really IS that simple.

I hate it when I rush here to give a witty answer and someone beats me! I was going to say "or what"!

I'll elaborate on the first answer, ever so slightly:

I'll take 'or what?' for $1000, Alex...

All religions try to control people. It's a political thing. It's all about money, really.

There is no 'heaven' there is no 'hell'... chill.

Have you even read the Bible?

"It is not those that know the Law.are righteous but those that obey the Law." Romans something, look it up.
