Well, If Hillary wins, then I would consider it. But other that that, freak no. The USA is the greatest country on Gods Green Earth!

I love my country, and it would be hard to move away from it permanently. The only reason I would consider moving away would be if it were the best thing for my family (meaning my child, my fiancee, and my future stepchildren). I can see the possibility of a situation where maybe that would be the best thing, and in that case, I would go. But, if that weren't the case, I would stay here.
EDIT-I guess I should add that my fiancee is from a foreign country, so that is why I thought of my answer in these terms! And if I had to move out of my country for the sake of family, I assume we would go to Chiapas Mexico, where he is from.

As a middle-class American I've considered it. I'm tired of subsidizing the poor and watching the rich evade taxes and buy politicians. We are a poor example of a democracy because the rich rule this country and always will. The division between classes is growing such that in a matter of time there will be no middle class--only the poor service industry people and the upper class who dictate everything.
I'd consider applying to Australia or one of the Scandinavian countries. They pay high taxes but at least get a return on their taxes. All we get are threats of social security drying up and more subsidization of illegals and immigrants that politician's will allow to overrun the country due to their greedy short-sightedness.

Despite who the hell wins any election, I'm not planning on staying in this country forever. In about 2 years, I'll be graduating from college and I'm planning on leaving to either:
Mexico, Spain or England. After graduation I just want to work to raise money and scram. Europe, why? that's where freedom really is; this country is full of hypocrites.

I'm from Canada, but we are living in Taiwan for work and the cultural and travel opportunities. In the last year, we have been to Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, and back to Canada. We will go to Viet Nam this weekend for a few days, Thailand for Western New Year, and Malaysia again for the Lunar New Year.
Our decision to live away has got nothing whatsoever to do with displeasure with our government. I think it was dumb of an American friend of ours to move over here just because Bush got re-elected and she can't stand him.

I do live out of the USA 6 months per year. I live in Budapest, Hungary.
We bought a place over here in Hungary because my husband was born here and left when he was a young man. Over the years we have always come to Hungary to visit his family and when his mom became an 80 year old widow,we would come over and stay with her for a couple of summer months to keep her company and to help with her very large garden.We would make wine and brandy and just hang out with grandma.she was so lonely we thought we owed her something for all of her hard work and she didn't want to go into a old folks home.His brother and sister would care for her in the winter,we just did our part.
when she died we still loved it over here and since we are close to retir ement age,we only have to worry about ourselves. Our son is grown so we live like Gypsies, traveling back and forth to work and live.
It is too expensive in America for us to ever really retire there so we plan on staying in Hungary when we can no longer work or just have had enough of everything.
I never thought I could live out side of the US but it is interesting and I love living around so much old history.

Zoe S;
Interesting choice of countries you have listed, I live in the UK and have worked in Mexico and Spain.
The UK is the only one of the three that has total freedom, far more so than the USA in fact. (yes, I have lived there as well).
But do not assume that it is utopia here, we also have immigration and race issues, drug problems, and high crime rates in some areas.
Freedom; yes, problem free; no.
