Orientation attire?

I just got a job at Kelsey's (mid-class restaurant) as a cook... we havn't gotten uniforms or anything, so I don't know exactly what to wear on orientation.... what would be more suitable? A fitted t-shirt with jeans, or a dress-shirt with jeans?

Btw, I wore a dress shirt w/ jeans to my interview...

Dress like you would when you work.

I know cooks wear uniforms, but imagine you were going to have to cook and you didn't have a uniform, what would you wear.

I would wear a casual button shirt (cotton) and jeans. Still a bit formal, but ready to work.
