We teach the truth about Joseph Smith,DNA and the American Indians, metalurgy and the Mayan ruins...if you can be open enough to hear it we want to give you the opportunity to know the truth.

PS- You Mormons think you have the truth and send your teenagers out to sell it. I am only offering you the same curtesy in return...The catch is that I offer the real truth.

I have no problems hearing other people's beliefs... I don't want a person to come to my door and say "everything you believe is wrong" because I know it's not.
That may sound "brainwashed" to you but why should I care? I have received a personal witness from the Holy Ghost that what I believe is true. Nothing can sway that. Yes, I mess up every now and then and I repent. I still know the gospel is true, I am just not perfect.
Our missionaries do not preach "you are wrong and I am right"... we believe most if not all religions have some truths and some aspects of the gospel which are correct. We say, bring all that with you, and the LDS gospel will add the rest.

Nope, sorry! I already know the "truth" about Joseph Smith! I know the Ancestry of the American Indians and who built the "Mayan Ruins and other ancient city's in South America! I didn't take any bodies word for it either. I received my own personal testimony of it from God. Seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened up unto you. Ask and He shall answer!
P.S. Back at ya!
Oh I'm sorry your attempts have failed. But I have never been brain washed by any one. I earned my testimony by putting my self out there and 'ASKING' those questions of God himself. Did God Brain wash me? Ha Ha! I really think not! It would be awfully difficult to Brain wash me any way I'm a cynic by nature. I don't believe any thing until I've got personal proof. And of the LDS Religion - I do!

If they knock on my door, I'd gladly let them in and have a discussion, as long as it doesn't turn into an argument. I tried hard to not be contentious when I was a missionary and I expect the same out of others.
I'm thinking this whole thing is hypothetical though.

you teach your truth- everyone is entitled to their own beliefs- and just because you believe different, doesn't mean that the other is wrong. You can say whatever it is that you want, that is your right- but my faith is based on much more than logical answers. If ANY religion were based on human comprehension and physical proof of things then there would be no need for faith. The bible would be unconcievable if this were the standard. My faith and belief comes from the dramatic change that it has made in my life. It has changed my life for the better in more ways than i have time to explain in your question. But please know that you trying to discredit others beliefs only hurts you.
- Acts 5:38,39 "Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God."" so according to the bible, if we are wrong, than you have got nothing to worry about. - but if we are right, than you are fighting against God-

I would be more than happy to hear what your missionaries have to say. I would love to talk with them and examine what they offer as truth. I spend many hours talking with representatives from the baptist, catholic, jw's when they come to my home to talk rreligion. I count them all as my friends, and am always up for more info and friends to talk about it with. Send 'em on by!

Nothing better to do than slam other people's beliefs? Good grief!
First? Hello I am a convert!! I prayed, I studied, I KNOW! What deep dark secrets do I have? NONE! I cannot deny that what I KNOW is true. Don't you get it?! LDS members know the truth. They have felt it! And I hope and pray everynight that my 3 beautiful kids go on missions. IT is the greatest gift I can give Heavenly Father.
