What's going on, it seems to have passed for now so I can actually write this, but I fear it will come back.

I have itchy eye problems often times, at least a few times a week but never like this before.

Scratching it relieves the itchiness for mere moments before it comes back in full force.

It's pretty hard to describe just how extraordinary the itching is.

Do you have allergies? Try some over-the-counter allegry medication, ask the pharmicist which one they recommend, specifically for itchy eyes. If it's not allergies, I would go to your doctor right away. Good luck!

Sounds like you have an eye infection or severe allergies. You need to go see a doctor and get your eyes checked out in case this is an infection.

99% of the time itching is due to allergies.

Try an oral antihistamine recommended by a pharmacist then see your family doctor to get prescription allergy eye drops.

If I were you, I would see an ophthalmologist quickly. The itching sensation you are getting may be indicative of something more destructive like nerve damage, infection or other maladies.

eye-itch is the classic symptom of ocular allergy. maybe you should try some OTC anti-allergy eyedrops like "alaway".

if that doesnt provide relief then its time for an eye exam
