If you do get hold of a pair of real Smith and Wesson handcuffs, you'd better get yourself trained up in the proper use of them so you don't break somebody's wrist.
I don't say this to be judgmental. I say it out of concern for your safety and the safety of those who will be wearing the cuffs.

Just got a new galls catalog. ASP now makes them in colors like pink and green. No fur for real cuffs.
It is probably good to use real cuffs. If you have a problem, it seemed to happen in one area I worked in a lot, when you call the police they will have the key.
The cheap and off market cuffs all have thier own keys, all cop cuffs have only 3 different kinds of keys that I know of.

just be careful do not carry the handcuff key with you leave it at home in some places possession of a hand cuff key may be illegal.
