Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.

This is the basic principle of the secret.

The Secret is not the information found in the New Testament. The Secret is selfish the New Testament selfless. The Secret is about the power of self. The New Testament is about the power of God.

The Secret is just simply motivational mojo.

***UPDATE***
I have already proved that the NT teaching is not the same as the teaching in the Secret. When the Bible says to ask you and you will recieve it, Jesus had just finished talking about the various "needs" that people worry about like clothing, food, and shelter. Therefore Jesus was saying that God provides everything we need. We are not to be selfish. Yet the Secret is based on self wants and the power of self (mind) to recieve it. The Bible statement is based on needs and the power of God to provide it.

See Matthew 6:25-34.

So Oprah turned on a quarter! She's really not that bright you know. I used to watch her show. She sometimes spends a whole show showing us what she has done in Africa. She makes more money off that one show than she spends 'doing good'.

Turns out she's helping in the wrong spot. She though she was Zu-lu I believe and apparently her heritage is from closer to the Ivory Coast. Don't remember exactly, but you get the idea.

The Gates really work at giving out their money. I didn't like Bill for a long time - just money envy I guess. Him and his wife are now good people in my books.

The secret is stupid.
Sit on your butt and hope the Universe provides for you. Only in America could such an idiotic idea take hold.

I havent read about it, but i heard about. What a crock. I heard that Oprah was trumping it up, until a caller said he was going to quit his cancer treatments, then she did a quick 180. Hehe.
