I need something refreshing, since i don't tend to get much water, 3 cups maximum, and i don't carry water with me (sometimes forget to close the cap and it leeks, and it takes up space. I do not trust water fountains), too much strain daily for my shoulders (i also carry a laptop)
;therefore, I adapted to rely on the sustenance of my food for water.
Bananas and granola bars and such are terrible suggestions. They are dry and i tend to prefer something ultra refreshing, but solid, in addition to being easy to grab and eat, and clean (apples tend to sit there on a counter and accumulate pathogens that i don't want to consume, bananas are encased; that is why they were originally my ideal choice)
In addition, I already have a liquid component to my quick meal, so don't suggest V8.
My scheduling makes time for 3 minutes to wake up and prepare everything (i.e. microwave, find books, grab drinks/fruits into bag) and the final 10 minutes to bath, and rush out the door. sleep is essential

My ideal balanced essential nutritional breakfast must be fast enough to grab on the go in under 2 minutes. I have 1 liquid component, 1 fruit, and i don't know what to get for the salty main coarse.
Sleep and breakfast are perfect for school success is what I believe. I also need to eat more as a person.

You are not allowing yourself enough time! There are things you can prepare the night before, like getting your books to gether, making a lunch etc., so that you don't have to feel so rushed in the morning. The components for a good breakfast include a little protein, complex carbohydrate and some fibre. Hardboil some eggs the night before to have on hand. Grab a whole grain muffin or english muffin and eat while you're walking or running whereever you're heading. You should purchase bottled water to have during the day to ensure that you are getting enough in your diet.

you need to decide which is more important to you: 10 extra minutes of sleep or a good breakfast. you can scramble eggs, toast bread, and eat a yogurt in less than 10 minutes. also you NEED to drink more water. no matter how much food you eat that contains lots of water, 3 cups is not enough especially with the busy schedule you seem to have. either carry a water with you (it really doesn't add that much weight), re-think your aversion to drinking fountains, or buy a bottle of water wherever you are. try putting your apple in the fridge if you think it's not safe sitting on the counter. or peel the apple. you can even peel it and slice it and put it in a ziploc in the fridge before you go to bed, easy to grab and go in the morning. try instant oatmeal or a bowl of cereal for breakfast. but most of all DRINK MORE WATER! good luck! i hope you find something that works for you.

Oh geez louise, either find more time to be able to ensure you eat a healthy, balanced breakfast, or learn to carry a bottle of water and a breakfast bar. There are no miracles out there. Your only other choice is to make something the night before, or in advance. Fry up some eggs (protein is necessary to metabolize carbohydrates) and add cheese. You can freeze these to just throw onto a bagel or a piece of whole grain bread. Wrap it in wax paper, nuke it for one minute, and there you go.

well you already have your liquid component, but when i think of speedy breakfast meal & that you need water, i think of ensure cause its super fast, and pretty good. and excellent, nutritionally.
hmm but since you have that.. let's see. yogurt is good, but the only 100% portable form of that is gogurt and thats just eh. you could try some kind of parfeit, they are pretty refreshing and filling if you put a lot of stuff in there (granola and fruit.. mmm)
im sure youre looking for a protein/grain/fruit kind of meal. i totally agree with you that sleep is essential, and you see that breakfast is too -- but perhaps you could try going to bed 20 minutes earlier because the real good breakfast you're looking for is almost impossible to get on the go.
eggs, nuts, milk, yogurt are all excellent protein choices for breakfast
the best fast breakfast i can think of is that parfait

I have a whey protein drink that I make w/ fruit.
It is called X rated Complete Whey Protein
I use one scoop ( provided ) Vanilla ( comes in diff. flavors)
1 cup or less of fruit (you can use frozen, or fresh)
about 2/3 cup raw organic oatmeal
5 Drops Stevia ( great natural sweetner) or honey
about 2 cups of water, or rice milk
some ice
sometimes I add a TB of flaxseeds
This gives me great energy, I also drink this before a hike. Takes about a minute to make.
It gives a good amount of protein, good carbs and fruit, great for energy and concentration

1/3 cup Southwestern egg beaters
1 slice Fat Free Kraft Singles
1 Tbsp. salsa
1 La Tortilla Factory Low Carb Tortilla
1 tsp. Bacos
Spray pan lightly with non-stick cooking spray and scramble the egg beaters and bacos.
When almost finished, tear the slice of cheese into pieces and mix them into the eggs. Place mixture into warmed tortilla and add salsa before folding it up.
You can add a few sliced black olives or a dollop of low fat sour cream on top if you'd like.
