i went to the mall yeasterday and went to sbarro. i got baked zite. it had this stuff on top that looked like red parmasean cheese. i think it was ham though. i am jewish and i cant eat ham, so i need to know this for the future.

no theres no pork in sbarro's baked ziti, having worked there when I was a teenager I know have a good one

Usually baked ziti has only cheese and sauce. If it was sausage more than likely it was pork, but I have to admit if you are Jewish you know you should have inquired.....are you really Jewish, i would guess not...LOL, cause I know for sure food content is paramount. On top of eating pork, you ate meat and diary from the same plate with the same utensils... you have to know better than that.

Not as a general rule, however, some folks mix ground beef with ground pork to enhance the flavor of the sauce. Check with your proprietor before you order it!

Some people put sausage meat in it. It's best to check.
