According to the Bible, theft is a sin. It is written: "Thou shalt not steal." While it's good to listen to Gospel music, taking it without paying is not. Piracy is also illegal and has gotten a small handful of heavy file-sharers in trouble with the law. People from all walks of life have been charged, yet the practice continues, despite the high-profile prosecutions. Millions of people download millions of files, but wouldn't it be cool if godly people took a stand for what is right? I could care less if the music industry makes another dollar, but I want to live with integrity.

There must be plenty of free gospel music.

Acquiring music that is protected by copyright without the permission of the copyright holder is wrong. You can decide whether it is a sin.
