Personally, I don't like them. They're essentially soda concentrate with extra caffeine added. As another responder stated, caffeine is a drug and excess amounts can have a negative effect on your cardiovascular system.
If I need an energy 'shot', I just slam a vial of royal jelly. It's the food that bees make for their queen, and it's good for a quick energy boost without all the calories and chemicals.

The ones I tried I don't care for, they have a metallic taste to me.
I did just try Java Monster, an Iced Coffee energy drink, the Mean Bean is really good.

Once in a while I'll have a Starbucks Double Shot (it's in a small can, sold at stores) But I've never tried any other energy drinks before.

No, I don't drink them. They are loaded with caffeine, which is a drug, and they contain alot of preservatives, chemicals, artificial colors and flavors, and other nasty stuff. Most of them contain carmine (red or caramel color) which is made from crushed cochineal beatles. I prefer fresh homemade juices. Energy drinks can be addictive, and can cause unhealthy side effects, including damage to your heart, liver and kidneys.

No. They're filled with unhealthy ingredients like high fructose corn syrup, added caffeine, and herbal supplements that can sometimes cause reactions with prescription medication or other herbal supplements.
They're very expensive, and I find they don't do much more for me than would a well brewed cup of coffee and a good diet with lots of fish and veg. They seem very gimmicky.

The only one I really like is XS energy drink. It isn't loaded with sugar and caffeine the way most are. You get your energy from B vitamins, herbs and taurine (which is an amino acid found in most food). I get mine at http://wduever.qhealthbeauty.com

I think they are extremely profitable for the huge corporations who make them. They are made mostly of water, sugar and caffeine, and sell for quite a high price.

No. They're outrageously priced, would cause me to go into hyperdrive, and i don't like the idea of shoving a bunch of nasty chemicals into my system.
