Does anyone know any good recipes containing the above two ingredients (note: the cream is not sour cream)

tres leches cake

Ingredients for Cake
1 package white cake mix
1 1/2 cups flour
5 eggs
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup cooking oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup milk
Filling
1 can evaporated milk
1 can condensed milk (14 oz.)
1/2 pint whipping cream
Frosting
1/2 pint whipping cream
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Mexican Cakes
Mix cake ingredients together and place in a rectangular cake pan (spray with non stick cooking oil) Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes until knife inserted in middle comes out clean.
Allow to cool for 20 minutes.
Mix together milk filling together and refrigerate while cake is cooking.
Mix Frosting together as cake cools.
Mix well until whipped cream peaks.
When cake is done allow to cool, then fill with milk filling.
You can poke holes in the cake or use a flavor injector.
I use a syringe since I am a nurse.
Frost and decorate.

If you take the can of sweetened condensed milk and pour it into a bowl, pour enough cream in the can to fill it half-way and fill it the rest of the way with water and then pour that into the same bowl. Add one egg and 2 tsp vanilla. Stir well. Pour into a round casserole dish and sprinkle with either cinnamon or nutmeg. Bake in a 350º oven 40 minutes or until a knife comes out clean. You don't need to put it in a water bath - just put the casserole dish right on the oven rack. You will have flan.

CONDENSED MILK FROSTING

1/2 c. shortening (Fluffo or vegetable shortening)
1 c. cream
1 (14 oz.) can condensed milk
5 tsp. vanilla

Beat shortening and cream approximately 5 minutes with electric beater. Add condensed milk and beat another 5 minutes. Add vanilla and beat again until desired thickness.

Look on the net for a Tres Leche cake recipe. You will find a variation that fits what you have on hand. And Tres Leche is Mucho Delicioso.
