there is this girl i like, when we are at work together we never run out of things to say. but when i got her email and started talking to her at home it is like she doesn't want to walk to me at all, i ask all the questions and i get one word responses any ideas of what i should do?

She's bad on the phone. Take her out after work. Get some coffee, go to Denny's. Hang out in person.

It sounds like she maybe a little shy and isn't sure what to say when it is jsut the two of you. Where as at work I'm assuming there are more people around and more of a social setting. She may feel alot more comfortable in a group rather than one on one.
Try inviting her out with a group of people that you two know and see if that helps any.

Well,maybe shes not alone at home and doesnt have time to chat (Id ask her)It could also be that maybe shes not a fast typer,you never know.Be open and if you really might have a good thing starting you need to be able to just ask her whats up.Good luck:)

about your question, some people talk more freely in person than online and others are the exact opposite...maybe that's why she doesn't seem very talkative. also, since she's at home, she might be multitasking and not able to put 100% of her attention on your conversation.
