Surely it was not Jesus, he was not rasied up from Paran, and didn't have 10,000 saints beside him.

I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

Interesting how the Holy Bible points to Muhammed "The Comforter" so many times but yet they still refute some, and yet take others as truth. Why is that you figure?

The Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) be praised for his glorious workingships. May the truth shine and put out the darkness of the lies!

Read further. This is talking about how you can tell a true prophet from a false prophet. And where in the Bible is paran or 10,000 saints mentioned? I have never read that.

Muhammed was never mentioned in the Bible. Except tangentially when it mentions false prophets.

The comforter is the Holy Spirit. Not some false prophet who rotted in his grave 1500 years ago.

Before we speculate on who or what, it would be extremely nice to prove that either book was historically accurate and trustworthy. As the Koran is derived from the Bible, I'd say that it is extremely non-belivable and has even less evidence than the Bible. which has very, very little.

Get busy and prove your book, or you are only spouting nonsense.

Belief does not define truth, it just ignores it.

If you are referring to Moses prophecy in Deuteronomy 18:15
"The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your countrymen, you shall listen to him. "

Peter the Apostle states plainly this was in very fact the Lord Jesus Christ:

"and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you,

"whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time.

"Moses said, 'THE LORD GOD WILL RAISE UP FOR YOU A PROPHET LIKE ME FROM YOUR BRETHREN; TO HIM YOU SHALL GIVE HEED to everything He says to you.

'And it will be that every soul that does not heed that prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.'

"And likewise, all the prophets who have spoken, from Samuel and his successors onward, also announced these days.

"is you who are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant which God made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, 'AND IN YOUR SEED ALL THE FAMILIES OF THE EARTH SHALL BE BLESSED.'
"For you first, God raised up His Servant and sent Him to bless you by turning every one of you from your wicked ways."

This is God speaking to Moses. This is a clear reference to the eventual appearance of Jesus Christ the Son of God. There are several such mentions in the Bible. Jesus Himself said that Moses frequently lifted Him (Jesus) up:

Deu 18:15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Deu 18:18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Act 3:22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Act 7:37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.

1 Samuel 25:1
And Samuel died; and all the Israelites were gathered together, and lamented him, and buried him in his house at Ramah. And David arose, and went down to the wilderness of Paran.

Now read Psalm 22 and you will see the words of Christ.

Psalm 22
1My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

2O my God, I cry in the day time, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.

3But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

4Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.

5They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.

6But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

7All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

8He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

9But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.

10I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.

11Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.

12Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

13They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.

14I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.

15My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

16For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

17I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.

18They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

19But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.

20Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.

21Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.

22I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

23Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.

24For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.

25My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.

26The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.

27All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

28For the kingdom is the LORD's: and he is the governor among the nations.

29All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.

30A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.

31They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.

Jesus the Christ is the God fo Abraham, Isaac and Joseph. When you pray to Allah..you are praying to Jehovah also known by His earthly name Ya'shua the Messiah - Every knee will bow, every tongue confess that Ya'shua (Salvation) Messiah (the Anointed) is Jehovah (I Am that I Am). Love In Christ, ~J~ The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit are One.
