I'm waking up at the start of the end of the world,
but its feeling just like every other morning before,
now i wonder what my life is going to mean if it's gone,
the cars are moving like a half a mile an hour if that
and I started staring at the passengers who're waving goodbye
can you tell me what was ever really special about me all this time?

Is it a song about becoming conscious of "self". People have a desire to be special and all they seem to do is want to conform..... blend in. It is asking you to take the challenge. Having 50 fans.. you are on the way!

Well it always has. In the past there were deadly diseases that we now have a cure for. Now there is global warming along with increased crime because there are more people.
