I'm always seeing some idiot walking in the middle of the road, after school is let out. They're completely oblivious to the fact that people are actually trying to DRIVE on the road. The very road they're WALKING right in the middle of. I really want to know why there has been an increasing amount of idiots walking in front of cars and why so many people have completely lost all of their common sense (which really isn't that COMMON anymore).

in the civilized world pedestrians have the right of way. the key word in the last sentence was civilized.

A pedestrian crossing a road has right of way while crossing but otherwise it is the car that the road was built for and pedestrians should stick to the f***ing footpath. On roads without a foodpath the pedestrian should stick to the side of the road and walk on the side facing traffic so they can see cars coming at them and get out of the way.
But that's what a horn is for, letting those who walk on roads know that they are stupid.

Too many people believe that pedestrians have the Right-Of-Way. Which is true when there's a crosswalk. Many people don't take into account that the 1.5 ton machine takes time to stop.
I do agree with you about common sense. Statistically, only 25% of people have it. Strange that we call it common.

I don't trust anyones driving enough to simply walk out into the middle of the road....you are just asking for it....to many inatentive drivers on cell phones or trying to light a cigarette

You must live in granite city,IL .All the kids walk in the streets here. That's why squirrels out number people here they get out the way of cars.
