I can't stop laughing at the fact that some people seem to be oblivious to the dripping sarcasm. The fact people are actually answering trying to correct you is acctually hurting my sides.

I interpret Jonah as a myth, Elisha as legend, Gospels as historic. the clarification why are interior the 1st link. This is incorrect. Reread the Book of Jonah. God sent a giant fish to swallow Jonah to remind him that ultimately Jonah could not run away and that even in midst of a giant ocean, God could find him....to remind Jonah of mans utter depenence on God for survival.....and that God reigns supreme everywhere...even in places we cant fathom..like the ocean bottom
