You can just pay the ticket without telling them and they may not find out right away. However, on their insurance statements it may list your ticket at some point in time, so they may find out then. Also, you may want to call and ask if they are going to send you a receipt because if your parents get the mail in your house they may see that too and recognize what it is. Honestly, I would tell your parents about the ticket. I have been where you are and just told my parents and they didn't take away my car or anything. STOP SPEEDING TOO!!! People in your age bracket are at a very high risk for fatal accidents so please take your driving seriously and be careful. Let this second ticket be a wake up call that you aren't being very responsible with the huge responsibility of driving a car. Honesty up front is the best policy even if you get in trouble because they will find out sooner or later whether you tell them or not. It won't be the end of the world if you tell them. Good luck to you!

You already received two speeding tickets and just began to drive? The police will inform your parents regardless. Some of the other answers say they won't find out. Not so. You are not considered an adult until the age of 18. Until then your parents have the last word.

In my opinion, you should not be driving, because you don't drive responsibly and may cause a serious accident one day and God forbid a loss of life.

Depends on if you are on their insurance policy. I'm sure they will notice when their insurance rate skyrockets because of your two tickets if you are. I'm the mom of a teen driver. I would much rather find out from my kid than from the insurance company. Just be honest with them,it will show you are trying to take responsibility for your mistake.

You can either go to the court house and pay for the ticket there or just mail it in. Regardless of what you do your parents won't find out about it.

My Daughter "got away with it" until the insurance company cancelled our policy.
