First of all, you need to be traveling with someone 25 or older to go on a cruise.

With that said, Carnival is "The Funship" and is a great starter cruise for first timers and young people. If you live in L.A., they offer 3,4 and 5 day cruises down to Mexico, where the drinking age is 18.

Drinking age on the ship is 21 and is so with any cruise and is strictly enforced. Your sign & sail card carries all your personal information, including your age. And being that you cannot pay with cash, your drinking adventures will not go far.

You cannot bring alcohol on the ship either as they check baggage. And only 1 bottle of wine or champagne can be brought on by an adult of 21 over age.

But cruising is fun! I suggest you try Carnival or Royal Caribbean (they all have rock walls)!

Check out this site to book.

We just got back from a 4 day Carnival Cruise and it was so much fun and the website offered everything we needed.

Good luck!

on all the cruise lines the drinking age is 21, a better idea would be to just go to a resort in mexico and find an all inclusive deal. wait till you are 18. on most cruises, the drinks arent included. thats how they make their money. Carnival would be the best bet for younger people though.

Are you planing this cruise for four years from now? Because you are too young to drink, even on a cruise ship, and you are too young to book a cruise by yourself.

You're not legal to drink and won't be able to do so on a cruise. Plus if you are under 21 you need a parent or guardian over 25 to be in the room with you. Your best bet is to go to Mexico or the Caribbean, no one focuses on drinking age there.

Try the Maldiviana sfari cruise, which is located in the Republic of Maldives. I think this will be a life time experience for you and your friends.

You ned someone to be over 21 in each cabin. You will not be able to drink - Carnival would be your best bet for people your age.
