Actually vitamin supplements for A. Yes, carrots! :) However, be careful you can OD on vitamin A and that can be dangerous. A friend of mine has a hereditary eye disease. Vitamin A is prescribed to improve her eyesight.

There are several methods to improve quickly and naturally eye sight.
To know how to do that you can find here a complete method based on researches done by some scientist, for a cheap price ( http://getyourvisionbacknow.keysolve.net )

I can give you just some tips but I suggest to give a look to the method that i posted above, for example you can take more food that contains vitamin A such as carrots may help to naturally improve your eye sight.
We can also always do exercises. There are exercises such as rolling your eyeball to form an invisible square that are always recommended by the doctors to improve one's eyesight.
I don't know about quickly as there is no fast way to reach one's goal.

Vegetarians can help to improve one's eye sight. I believe it because I am a vegetarian and my eye short-sightedness power remains the same without any increase after about 2 years.
The doctor was shocked because teenagers at my years will usually have a most increase since we are always watching TV, playing computers and also reading.
I do not know whether it is totally true or not but it does affect a bit on the result.

Actually eating carrots is important for healthy eyesight, but it doesn't improve ur vision. People have always believed that if they eat more carrots, then they would get better vision, that's a complete myth, not a scientific fact..
I don't think people are trying to be smart a** if they answer glasses, contacts, or the lasik surgery b/c these are the solutions out there. I can only add another type of contacts that u wear at night and take out in the morning. They reshape ur cornea, so u wouldn't need any correction during the day. They are called CRT. There are also vitamins and supplements that can help with the overall visual health, but I don't think they restore ur vision. The best advise anyone can give u here is to talk to ur optometrist and see what he/she recommends.

Vitamin A supplement will definitely help to improve your eye sight because the main substance that helps improve vision in a carrot is the high amount of vitamin A that is found inside it.

There are surgeries such as LASIK and Phakic IOL's. Try eating carrots, always wear sunglasses, and I recommend you have eat a few of the following pills: Lutein, cod liver oil, bilberry, ect. These will help increase circulation in your eyes (lutein), cod liver is good for your brains and possible eyes, and I think bilberry helps improve vision overall.

My Mother takes Blackmores Macu-Vision and swears by it.

The following information comes from the Blackmores site,

http://www.blackmores.com.au/Products/Detail.aspx?ProductId=1919

"Features and benefits

*

Provides nutrients important to the macular region, the central part of the retina
*

Based on the clinically trialled AREDS formula*
*

Every product sold supports the MD Foundation

*The AREDS research studied eye health in 3553 people. To improve the formula betacarotene has been removed and synthetic vitamin E has been replaced with natural vitamin E.
How it works

Antioxidants act as ‘free-radical scavengers’. Free radicals are common in the body, arising through a variety of mechanisms. Many of these free radicals are dealt with by the body’s own free radical, antioxidant defences . Some free radicals however escape these defences, and cause cellular damage. Research suggests that accumulation of free radical cellular damage can result in degenerative conditions.

The antioxidants zinc and vitamins C and E play a significant role in defending against free radical damage in the macular region of the retina and lens of the eye."

There are eye exercises and techniques that can improve your vision. You will notice temporary improvements within a few days, but note that you must practice them for a few months for permanent results. I used to be nearsighted (-1.00D) and I also had astigmatism and was able to completely improve my vision.

For more information about eye exercises go here:

Vitamins & minerals are also very important for your eyes:

Best regards,

P.S. To anyone who doubts that eating carrots is good for eyesight: Have any of you ever seen a rabbit that wears glasses??? :-)

I'm not trying to be a smartass. Just get laser eye surgery. It will make your eyes better and you don't have to wear glasses. I don't think there is anything in a diet that will make it better.

I heard there's some sort of chip they can put in. You should talk to your doctor about that.
