I have a lot of trouble reading the boards from school, even in the first or second row. I have an Rx, but I am not going to be able to get glasses/contacts for a couple months. Any suggestions to make things easier tenil then?

Let your teacher know that you are having trouble seeing the board and talk with him/her to find a temporary solution (such as your teacher going over what has been on the board either before or after class) until you can get glasses or contacts. Your teacher may be wondering why your work isn't up tp scratch (if your sight is affecting it) and this will help them to understand also. Sit as close as you can to the front of the room also.

Sounds like you are nearsighted and really do need to get some glasses asap. Pinhole glasses would help you see the board but you would feel really funny wearing them.
Try making a little pinhole in a piece of paper. Then look thru it and you will see a sharp image of whatever you are looking at.
Will that work at school? Not too good, but maybe.

Talk to the teacher about it and sit in the front row. Your teacher may be able to help you out by letting you know what is up there if it is too small to read. You'll be glad when you get your glasses. I really was.

Why can't you get glasses for a couple of months? You need stronger glasses so go get your eyes checked. This is a medical need and something you need to get taken care of now not later. If you had a toothache and needed a tooth fixed would you wait? Go now and get it taken care of. The eye doc can work something out if money is a problem.

.get the contacts as soon as possible.explain to the class teacher for special permission to copy notes from your nearest mate till the problem is rectified

you definately need to get glasses before then if you're this bad especially for school. it will really make a difference in school and with your grades
