I'm sure it would.

Science supports some religions, but Christianity isn't one of them. At least not fundamentalist christianity.

Science does not support the Biblical account of Creation.
Science has yet to lend any credence to the reincarnation.
Science does not support the Biblical account of the flood.
Science does not support the date of Christ's birth in December.
Science certainly doesn't support the modern claims of miracles or demons.

Science does not support many of the tales in the Bible though there are some Christian fanatics who twist science in an attempt to solidify their claim that the Bible is true. In the end, you can play with words to come up with anything; that doesn't make it true though.

Science doesn't support religion. Sometimes different religions make a few good guesses now and then about the nature of the natural world.

Scientific evidence supports scientific theories and hypotheses. If it supported religion, it would be called theological evidence.

It doesn't irritate me, because science does not support the belief in god. It may explain why people believe in religion, but it doesn't give any evidence to the actual existence of a divine being.

Not at all. A Laughable premise, because the "scientists" that support religion are the same "scientists" that support whipping the insane to drive the demons out of them and think that you can cure a virus but putting leeches on the patient.

Shouldn't it be:
Does it irritate a christian that science supports religion?

Because there's no scientific evidence of Jesus, Noah's Flood, God, etc.

Science supports religion in the same way that the bible supports Satanism. (i.e. it runs like hell in the opposite direction)

All the scientific evidence overwhelmingly supports the hypothesis that religion exists.

No, because it doesn't. Science proves that there is no sky fairy, that hell is not underground, that heaven is not above the sky, that a world wide flood did not ever occur, that people who were alone in caves or on mountains did not receive visits from their sky fairies. But it does irritate me that people like you will continue to be blind to the truth.

Since religion is based on fiction, no science doesn't support it. It would be nice if it were the other way around, though.

I am not irritated.

Science has, historically speaking, always been wrong. The difference between religion and science is that science will admit it.
Please provide your scientific proof of God. Anything you've got, really, I'm interested.
