He's a senior, I'm a sophmore. I have known him since the middle of last year. He flirts a little, but that's just how he is... I don't want to just stop being friends with him, but seriously, it's like a punch in the stomach every time I see him ( unless I talk to him, then it's fine)... We just have a lot in common, except he's 2 years older than me, which wouldn't be a problem really, it's just that I dont think he likes me like that;(
How do you get over someone like that?
thanx

You don't know that he does not like you "like that". Keep up the innocent flirting, and see where it goes. If there is a dance at school or something, ask him casually if he would want to go. OR ask him about seeing a movie. Just keep it casual---that's the key to not looking stupid!

You are suffering from what is known as unrequited love. You love him but he does not like you in like manner. You are lucky in that you have guys who are your peers that you are interested in;you only have to stop the comparisons. They make it much more difficult for you to move on. There is no foolproof way to get over someone or your feelings, Only time, family and friendly support can ameliorate the pain.Good luck.
