She is probably cold, and is cuddling with you because she is trying to get warm. She might like being held a little more now! If she normaly purrs, watch for signs. Some is bad, and other times it is good. One purr is for smelling a girl if a boy, one is if you get your hand near most pigs bottoms, they will uncomfortable and warn you, and sometimes it is because they are happy! She is fine. Guinea pigs are known for their noises.

Guinea pigs rarely need baths, they are very good cleaners as it is. Washing too often can cause dry and irritated skin.

After washing it is important that you dry before putting her back in her cage. Have you dried her? Use towels and a hair dryer set on cool to dry her.

Sometimes guinea pigs purr and vibrate at the same time, this is a sign of happiness and is usually done when being petted.

ETA:
Just because the previous owners said that she liked baths does not mean that they are good for her. Just like humans like take-away/fast food, it doesn't mean they are good for us. Does it?

Guinea pigs are naturally good cleaners, washing should be kept to a maximum of every 3 months. If the reason behind washing is due to her smelling it is a sign that you need to clean the cage more often.

She is probably very cold, so get a few towels, wrap it up and hold it. Warm up the guinea pig with your body heat and next time, make sure you don't use too much water, and that the water is warm. Also make sure you dry it very well.

Vibrating or shaking is a function of the body which keeps you warm. Such as you shiver on a cold day. I use to use a low setting hair dryer on mine, then hold in a towel till the shaking slows down. Or you can cut a hole in a shoe box, like a house to hold the warmth in.

she is cold!!!! get a small blanket and cuddle up with her real close.i would do this with my pig all the time while laying on the couch watching TV and she loved the warmth...and don't bathe her again!!!they need to be warm .another tip i can give you is not to use cedar chips in her cage---it can cause respiratory problems..i used white pine chips and she lived for over 6 years.....clean the cage about once a week to keep her fresh smelling .i never gave my pig a bath once in all those years and she always smelled -pine fresh- : )

thats there way of purring, i wouldent put her in the cage til she is dry thou. u will notice when you pet her in a spot she likes for a while she will do the same thing, I was advised by the pet store that they clean themselves and they really should not be given that many baths because they are really sensitive from being cold.

She's definately cold from the bath (I think the water U bathe her in is not warm enough).

Use a hairdryer on her (set on lowest setting).

If the shiver still persist, please bring her to a vet (might had caught a cold)

I usually give my hamster bath time but I dried them using warm towels and hairdryer.

Sounds like she is way too cold. Put a washcloth in the microwave for 30seconds and then wrap her in it until she warms up.
She very cold. You need to get her warm so she will stop shivering
