i got up and left CA for a change of pace in schaumburg, illinois. I don't have a job here and was hoping for something that would allow for travel....out of the state. I majored in International relations and animal science and have experience working at the department of health. I have tried looking but am exhausted. At this point, i might have to work at a restaurant. hopefully someone has some ideas...

You could become an online travel agent. Don't laugh. It would give you the freedom to travel ( 51% of any charges incurred by you in reference to your business is a tax write off), you get to travel if not at discount prices for free. You get inside access to travel like the pros do.
You build your own clientele and in this day and age when people want to know about where they are going, cultural insights etc, you have the background for it.
You could build culinary packages, equestrian packages, you name it- you can do it. You don't have to rent space to do. You can do it in your jammies.
It starts slow but you are not limited to your new surroundings, you can pull in friends from your old stomping grounds- CA. You can do it anywhere you are and your clients can do it themselves with your help. You can start it while you do the "restaurant" thing until you build it and can say bye bye to it. Freedom!!!!
Bottom line- you are not beholden to a boss, nepotism, envy or backstabbing which is a part of the corporate world.

I grew up in Schaumburg... just wanted to point that out. Jobs there suck unless you are the "corporate world" type!

as much as Wisconsin Dells area and visit the Baraboo Circus Museum - it is surprising to work out the previous circus wagons and that they positioned on a circus. abode on the Rock in Wisconsin is likewise 'thrilling'.
