Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own dunderstanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Isaiah 41:10
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

I'm rather agoraphobic and sometimes when I have to go somewhere I'm terrified. Then is when all I can do is travel with a prayer in my heart. That's how I fight my fear.

just trust what ever happens is fate never give up though.
i hap a problem when i was younger i was very sick with something i never knew what it was i was always vomiting and stuff like that and then i had to go into surgery to see what was wrong and nothing was there and after the surgery i was fine i never had that problem again i am happy that i am better now i was 8 when this happened and here i am 13 and healthy i am happy well and ready to live my life. everything happens for a reason so if you have a mental illness it will probably help the word in some way. such as treating everyone with respect and stuff like that i learned that and so will you trust in god and i think that you will get better. i feel it in my gut that you will be better one day just like i did and be well and ready to live your life

You and I have something in common, then. I am also going through a really dark period right now. God seems distant, and I have trouble with prayer. I just can't speak to God. I've been in the depths of depression for about two months and my medication is slow to work. I try to read His Word, and I have trouble understanding it because of depression.

Well, that's my story, for whatever it's worth. I have nothing good to say right now. I'm just passing time on R&S until my husband gets home from work and I won't be alone.

God mt friend is a term we look at when something cannot be explained. Open heart surgery in the 1930 would have been considered an act of god. A fax machine in the 1980 would have been gods work. We all have comfort in thinking there is a higher power, and there may be. But bear in mind if there is a higher power, it would be for ALL living things. So my advice is to find strength in your mind, this will attract others to your character and you will gain wisdom through experiences of others you look up to. As you grow you will be indestructable and be your own god.
Bless in You my friend.

I always trust in God, whether or not I am afraid. My story is an old tale, which has been told many times. I am a Christian, and the gospels have existed for over 2,000 years.

Life in itself is enough to be afraid of. Yes, I do rely on God to keep me in His care every day. I don't have one particular story but just that God is loving and caring and good all the time. Keep relying on Him and He can get you through your dark illness.

I have no illness, but I still trust in God for everything. I wasn't afraid but I use to be hard on myself for not being perfect. Not sinning that is.....It took me awhile but it finally sunk in that Gods grace is sufficient..and Paul in Romans 7 talked about the hold of sin. I use to hate myself for not giving God my best. Not that I didn't try, But yeah its hard at times.

I trust God at all times. I remember when my Dad wanted to travel. Being in the military, he had to get permission from the military. He didnt get it. We prayed and believed and trusted. But he didnt. And one day my dad woke up and couldnt walk. Then he got a medical evacuation to go out of the country. And once out, he could walk again!!!!!!! See the massive skill of God!!! Amazing how he implements his plans.

i was afraid to trust in god once but i don't know why, it might be because the secular humanists here were getting to me but i had alot of encouragement. for example: during this phase there was a speaker at our youth that was, like one with god, just about. while pacing back and forth in front of the front row (where i was at) and she stopped right in front of me and told me directly to not believe the lies of this world and to hold tight to god. how could that've happened without god's influence? it couldn't have.

God bless ^-^
