don't they have better things to do other than finding fault in the Catholic Church? why can't they just pray in silence for their own life and not look at what other people are doing? Bible-fundamentalists don't belong in the Catholic Church, so why do they protest so much about anything Catholic?

cannon_primed, my point is, why don't you, Bible-fundies, mind your own business? and just so you'd know, Catholics are the original Christians, so who are you, a mere protestant, question their ways and imply that you are the real Christian?

blondiebaptist, you project your own ways to Catholics. I never heard from any of the Catholics, not even a single one, say they are the only ones who will get to heaven. you just think they do because that's your own way of thinking. I am not upset, I'm just wondering why, Bible fundies, such as you, can't leave the Catholic Church alone.

Fundies love to attack anyone who thinks differently, even other Christians.

It is the ignorant fundies that make this country look like we are a bunch of morons.

Because Bible-Fundies are HERETICS!

They never know what the HECK they are talking about, from salvation, to baptism, to the Trinity! In my book, anyone who does NOT believe in the Trinity is NOT a christian!

And their WISHFUL thoughts on salvation ... WISHFUL. Not at all backed by scripture!

For more than a week now, I offered ANYONE 10 points to refute anything in Catholic Answers, and all of a sudden .. I get one-line responses?

These people are a JOKE. For their sakes, I wish they were just STUPID, that way, their heresy will not be taken against them. And I remind all my Catholic brethren: we are FORBIDDEN from making fun of the 'afflicted', and we run the risk of sinning if we react to them in anger.

And for heretics .. remember now, we correct with love, give them instruction, and explain to them the error of their beliefs.
Sigh ...

Peace to all peaceful people.

It's ridiculous isn't it? You are absolutely right. I think part of it is that fundamentalists take things so literally that they want to "save" Catholics ... but the only way that they can come up with to do it is to trash their religion. Hmm. Wonder why that doesn't work folks... are you listening???? Plus there is the whole "good works" controversy that fundamentalists think Catholics are all missing the point of eternal life on. I am with you. I think fundamentalists should worry about what could be improved in their own lives and religion instead of worrying about other religions..... and Catholics don't feel so picked on.... fundamentalists feel I believe anyway... that it's their way or the highway anyway... at least that is the impression I get.

It helps them to try and validate one of their 33,000 denominations that broke off from the original church. The church Jesus established and placed into Peter's hands to lead. Our blessed Holy Catholic Church has been around for over 2,000 years

"They bow to a statue of mary" Exodus 25:18-21, God instructions Moses to make 2 golden sculptures of angels (cherubim) for the Ark of the Covenant. In Numbers 21:8-9, God instructions Moses to make a bronze serpent, so as that the folk who have been bitten by ability of snakes might desire to look upon it and be healed. God curiously has no issues of non secular artwork. ". . . and say "Hail Mary" holy mary mom OF GOD" In announcing "Hail, Mary," Catholics are repeating the words spoken by ability of the angel Gabriel to Mary (see Luke a million:26-28). Is there some undertaking with quoting the Bible? "Its a disgusting act to think of that God has a mom" Is it disgusting that God improve into born as an toddler, and that the toddler Jesus had a mom? no person might desire to be revolted by ability of the biblical info. Cheers, Bruce

Look here.
I am a former Catholic. Their doctrine does not fully believe in Scripture. I could bring up a few things, but for the sake of time, I won't. Email me of you want to know why I left. If you don't, I could care less.
As far as what Catholics do, if this is what you want, so be it. I have never had so much much peace and joy with the Holy Spirit. There is just enough life in most catholic churches to sustain mere satisfaction. Joy eludes them. feels like a funeral.

Didn't the Catholic Church have better things to do than to send priests out to subdue and murder thousands of Indians in the New World. How about the inquisition? Was that minding its own business. How about pedophile priests, the church really minded its business then didn't it? The Catholic Church is no better or worse than any of the other countless religions that claim to be the true way and the only way.

I thank God I'm an Independent Fundamental Baptist, but honey, the Catholics were the ones who killed anyone who refused to be Catholic, they killed people for not baptizing their infants, which is not Biblical by the way. Why do Catholics think they are the only ones who are going to Heaven? Why are you so upset, is it because you're being convicted in your heart by God?

Edit: Read the Trail of Blood and you will see why the Catholic Church apparently felt threatened by anyone who believed different. Not my views, but your churches dearie. I know I'm saved and going to Heaven, not cause I'm Baptist, but cause of what Jesus did for me on Calvary.

It's because the Catholic Church gives them so many opportunities to do so.

yeah!
No one should mess with an organization that has such a grand tradition as the Catholic Church.
It took them 19 centuries to develop all the pageantry and ritual that is the modern Catholic Church!
