Don't be silly. You don't have to go to up-scale places to buy a pair of nice, real shoes. Mong Kok has a street that is full of footwear stores (I forgot what it's called. It's something called "footwear street" or "sneaker street". Ask someone in MongKok where the street is. Shouldn't be that hard to find. The street name in Chinese pronounces like "ball hai guy". Just ask "Do you know where 'Ball Hai Guy' is" and tell them that you want to buy shoes. I bought a pair of Nike shoes in MongKok once and it only costed me $500 HKD while other stores was selling it for $700 HKD. Think about it :)

Well, where in Mongkok are you getting them? If you get them in Langham Mall and cost about $600 HK, then it is real. If you get it through the Ladies Market and costs $200 HK, then it is fake! I would rather go for the fake one!
