same as title....What's the highest/lowest "degree" felony a person can possibly get?

1st degree is the worst (think 1st degree murder)

The lower degrees vary by state - then there are misdemeanors with varying degrees, also.

In Illinois it is Class X, 1st, 2nd, 3rd for non homicide. 1st degree homicide is not the top. Felony Homicide is, that is a homicide occurring during the commission of a felony (robbery, arson etc.)

1st degree is always the worst, then on down the line. No matter what the charge (robbery, murder etc....)
