I am 25, 5'5" and 115 lbs. I am not trying to go on a diet, but I need some advice on how to eat healthier and keep my figure. I don't want to shop for jeans in a bigger size every month lol.
The problem is, I work at a gas station where 99% of the store is sugary, fatty, salty junk food. And the sad part is, most of it appeals to me. I try to eat healthy (because I feel better when I do) but I usually end up overeating or oversnacking later to make up for the craving for the junk food, and then I feel bloated, tired and cranky after I eat the junk food.
(Example: I had fruit and lowfat yogurt for breakfast this morning.. but later I got really hungry and stuffed myself at Taco Bell, which my body is telling me I shouldn't have done.)
How are some ways that you guys stop craving junk food so much?
Please do not tell me I have an eating disorder. I simply want to take better care of myself by eating better foods so I can be alert during my full-time job and my college classes.

I will not look right if I gain 10 pounds. When I did, it went straight to my stomach area and I got an unsightly thing known as a muffin top. So no, I will not gain 10 pounds just to appear healthy to go "by the book." It is bad enough that our culture judges people by appearance. I refuse to go along with pre-set weight standards just to be accepted.
