As reported in the Arizona Republic 09/19/2007
"The defendant in a state lawsuit is accused of causing untold death and horror and threatening to cause more still...State Senator Ernie Chambers sued God last week.....Chambers says in his lawsuit that God has made terroristic threats against the senator and his constituents, inspired fear and caused "widespread death, destruction and terrorization of millions upon millions of Earth's inhabitants. Chambers also stated that God has caused "fearsome floods, horrendous hurricanes" He is seeking a permanent injunction against the Almighty.
Do you think that I could join in this lawsuit, with some of you here , making it a class action lawsuit?

I didn't feel like copying the whole paper, I left out the part that states that the Senator refuses to take part in the Capitol Prayers because he is an atheist.

As a Christian I say don't join 8 track...

I'm scratching my head over what this elected Senator is doing since he is an atheist and so he knows that God does not exist. How can he blame a non existent being for creating the havoc he claims? Okaaayyy well any how he's costing his constituents tax money. I don't know if he will be reelected or not.

My vote is this case will be dropped with no defense lawyer because of the premise of his ideology is insufficient cause. Or am I missing a link somewhere in my thinking?.

I do believe the good senator is looking for an injunction...although how he intends to get the Defendant into court, and how he intends to enforce his injunction if the judge decides in his favor remains to be seen.

On the other hand, I have considered filing a counter-suit. As a Child of God, I think we ought to sue Mr. Chambers for slander and defamation of character. He has made some very nasty statements about my Father, and I think we ought to seek justice.
Now, that WOULD be a "class action suit"...since every Christian in America would be a member of God's family, and therefore, they would all be represented.
And we have this assurance...if we should be successful in our suit, it is possible to enforce our judgment against the senator.
So, who is with me?
(Email me, if you are interested.)

Im going to sue you because you cant seem to let people live and beleive what they want.. That is what kills people. The need to have everyone agree with you. Or they are evil. That has nothing to do with God. God or no God that is the root of he problem.
People just cant MInd there own business. That is what kills people.

I think I'll join up too. If we win a judgment can we get the Roman Catholic Church to pay as the Pope is His representative here on earth?

ya you should be able to join a Class Action, but ahh which God are you suing?
Is it Allah or the Hebrew God(dess) or the Christian God or....

The Jews put God(dess) on trial at Auschwitz.
Jews v. God, God was found guilty of neglect and abuse.

so there is precedent.

Sad, but he was making a point about frivolous lawsuits.
He found a few suckers along the way.

You can join one, but god won't show up for trial. You'll get a default judgment, but you'll never be able to collect, because no Sheriff has ever been able serve god with a court order. They can't find him.
