Does anyone know Kerns from Michigan they could be relatives?

It might help if you could narrow down the part of the state. This is a very large state and Kerns is a very common name. I know people with that surname living everywhere from Detroit metro area all the way up to the northern lower peninsula...and especially in the Saginaw and Frankenmuth areas. Germans settled this state in huge numbers during the logging years...and they made a whole lot of babies.
