It`s true what they say about men
A husband and wife came for counseling after 15 years of marriage.
When asked what the problem was, the wife went into a passionate,
painful tirade listing every problem they had ever had in the 15 years they had
been married.
She went on and on and on: neglect, lack of intimacy, emptiness,
loneliness, feeling unloved and unlovable, an entire laundry list of unmet
needs she had endured over the course of their marriage.
Finally, after allowing this to go on for a sufficient length of time,
the therapist got up, walked around the desk and, after asking the wife to
stand, embraced and kissed her passionately.
The woman shut up and quietly sat down as though in a daze.
The therapist turned to the husband and said, "This is what your wife needs at least
three times a week. Can you do this?"
The husband thought for a moment and replied, "Well, I can drop her off
here on Mondays and Wednesdays, but on Fridays, I fish."

i think she's most probably hinting that the both of u are not spending time together as often..perhaps u should try to be more sensitive to ur wife's needs..hug her or kiss her and such..tell her u love her..spend more quality time with her, just the two of u..
and dismiss the nonsense about her with a therapist..i doubt she's doing that - she's just trying to hint on the biggest thing in the joke, which is the couple not spending enough wuality time together and the husband neglecting the wife's needs and such..
women are such that we like to give hints, but sometimes in hints like the above joke, it might backfire us cuz we didnt oversee the things which aren't of concern to us(like the therapist kissing the wife, which one might speculate that his wife is having an affair with the therapist)..

Therapist is saying that the wife needs some attention and passion to stop her complaining.
Husband is saying that he isn't interested, but will bring her by for the therapist to take care of.
Try harder.

Don't understand? He thought the therapist meant could he bring his wife to the therapist so he could hug her, not the husband.

He`d drop her off at the therapist for affection so the husband wouldn`t have to do it.

i think the 2 before last one above me hit the nail on head spend more time with wife and listen and give what she is asking for not what you can give at the very least

he meant he couldn't drop her off at the therapist for lovin' on friday because he would be fishing!

thatasbrilliant joke. its saying the husband isnt doing what she whants. the theripist shows him what he needs to do three times a week. he implies that he wont do it but he can drop her of so the theripist can.
