Why does my cat like to sit on my head.?

Maybe it's that cat bed you have strapped to your head...yes it is a nice shade of purple, but it's not very practical!

I'd go with the heat thing. Cats are like heat seeking missiles. Your head gives off the most amount of heat from your body.

If your cat does not have much fat, then it seeks warmth on your body. I often find that my cat likes to sleep in between my legs at night since it's the warmest part that I am exposing...but damn it's hard to roll over with a ***** in between your legs :P

You see, if you kinda look at it from his perspective, its like a bird's perch even thought its a cat. With this high vantage point, your cat can observe all that you see. Look! Tuna!! Hey what's for dinner tonight? Looks like salmon baby!!!!

yes ur head is warm and soft etc. but also cats like to be comfortable so it must also be kinda soft and pretty much flat srry

Good question! I have an 8 yr. old cat that I named,"Perch" at birth because he liked to do that and later liked to climb on my door tops. Let me know if you figure it out!
