Have you ever seen Semi- Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee on the Food Network? Well, she has a special segment that she dedicates to making cocktails, atleast one for every show. If you go to www.foodtnetwork.com and find her show on there, I bet you could find tons of cocktail recipes.

Cosmos are a great "girls drink"! To avoid folks getting too inebriated, consider having foods that will be filling and assist in absorbing some of the "drink". Ideas include:

1. Bruschetta
2. Tortonlini skewers with marinara
3. Fried ravioli
4. Baked ham, sliced for mini sandwiches with bisquits
5. Fresh fruits and yogurt sauce
6. Meatballs in breadbowls
7. Nachos

Vodka and cranberry juice. Rum and coke. Vodka+anything is always good, try it with lemonade, iced tea, any fruit juice/punch. Those are all easy, and if you want you can throw a splash of vodka in the punch bowl-but I would keep a virgin one also for anyone that doesn't want it. You could do margaritas, mudslides, that sort of deal but then it gets complicated and your the bar tender and not in the party. Just a few bottles of jack daniels and good vodka with chasers is all you need.

Sex on the Beach! It's a great girly drink (hell, it's pink), and would work well in your punch fountain!
For 1 drink in a regular sized glass:
1 shot Peach Tree Schnapps
1 shot Malibu Rum
Fill to top with pineapple juice and cranberry juice.
Stir.

Also, at parties I like to go buy a fresh pineapple or two, slice them up, and soak them in Malibu. It's always a hit!

Happy Birthday! Hope you have fun no matter what you do!

You could try a "cheater margarita"

Take a 12 oz can of beer, fill the can half way with tequila, and a small can of frozen limeade. Put it all in a blender, with tons of ice, and let her rip.

Pour it out into salt rimmed glasses, garnish with a lime slice or wedge. No one would ever believe what you used to make them.

Get a couple gallons of grain alcohol, add the concentrate for fruit juice (half gallon containers used by school cafeterias, one per gallon or two), and some sliced fresh fruit..... no water. Mix in a large bowl and serve. If done right, it will just taste sweet and not like a strong alcohol drink.... but two 10 ounce cups will knock a linebacker onto his butt. Enjoy.

My fav is a cosmopolitan!

1 1/2 oz vodka

You could make a pineapple rum punch, add a little cherry juice or grenedine to sweeten it up and make it look pretty. That would go great in the fountain.
