I don't know? I'm don't want one but my brother who's off to college is getting one. What do you think about them?

I think they in some way represent yourself.

I love the artwork of tattoos; there is some real talent out there, but I would never want it on my body! I wish they made tattoo wall paper, posters, calenders etc.
If you aren't sure if you want a tattoo or not, they sell fake tattoos (not like the ones in Crackrejack) they look real, and don't come off with water. You could get some of those and try them to see if you like it without doing anything permanent.

I think tattoos are awesome!
I like to here of the stories behind them. People who don’t like tattoos need to just keep there mouth shut, if they don’t have anything nice to say that is. It does not make you look trashy, as long as it’s for a special reason and not randomly done for no reason or whatever. People get them for important things in there life that they want to remember, I see no problem with it, it’s art, and I’m sick of people being so judgmental and stereotyping people, why not try being more open minded?
I already put this on another question like this....x3

I love tattoos! I believe that my body is my temple and every now and then i feel the need to decorate it. You shouldn't feel pressured into thinking that just because your brother is get one or has gotten one that you need to get one to. Getting stabbed with a needle hundreds of times isn't for everyone.

sure it represents yourself, but you need to think of yyour future, would you like to be an old man/woman with a picture of a dragon tattooed on yourself? it seems pretty tasteless unless you put it in a place where most people won't see it, and you can't go overboard

I think they're cool when they're both hidden and unhidden on young people, but exposed tattoos aren't cool on anyone who has a kid, or looks old enough to have one, unless you're Angelina Jolie and then the normal rules of humanity don't apply. I once saw an article in Jane magazine about "Naked Yoga" and the model had a small tattoo on her back. I mean, I'm not the sort of girl who goes for girls but I thought that tattoo on that girl in that spot looked amazing

I think they are tasteful as long as they are not over done or on an obvious location. I have a small one on my lower back and the only person that see it is my husband.

I love looking at one of my tattoos and remembering who I was when I got it, where I was, and who I was with. It's like a photo album of artwork on my body!

I think if you are going to get a tattoo you need to get one that you really like and really want because its gonna be there forever unless you get it laser removed which hurts really bad .....just make sure you really want it and don't just get something stupid that you like for now!!

They were cool 10 years ago, but now that even employees of the Geek Squad have them, I'd say it is pretty much on its way out. Besides there is a reason that tattoo removal is becoming a great business venture.
