As it seems you are keeping the kittens until you find homes for them, please be sure they are being fed a proper diet. This doesn't mean expensive food, it just means that they need kitten food -- wet food labeled for kittens mixed with warm water, likely, as they have probably just been weaned, mixing in dry kitten food gradually and working up to only dry kitten food over the span of 3 to 4 weeks (dry food will be much cheaper for you).

In the meantime, take a picture of the kittens and post it in an ad on craigslist.com. The ads are free. Make sure you choose the correct area from the sidebar so that local people will see your ad. I would suggest a title of "Free Kittens", and do not type the ad in all capital letters, as that's really difficult to read. People will respond. If not enough do, keep posting every few days the same ad. Some people are lazy and don't scroll down too far. Also search the ads for people looking for kittens. Contact them.

I would also suggest asking people at your work, your bank, your grocery store, etc. if they or anyone they know would like a kitten. Tell your friends. Get the word out to everyone you can.

Don't worry, you'll find homes for the kittens. It may take time, but you will. Stay calm and good luck!

Foster the kitties until they are at least 8 weeks, run an add in the paper, and you'll be surprised at how many people will come by. But take the time to talk to them to make sure that they will give the kitten a good home. You also can check with any vet's office to see if anyone is looking for kittens. Be sure to furnish the vet's office with cute pictures of the kittens. Also, you might try talking to any farmers in the area - they may be interested to have the kittens around as mice chasers. Good luck and I hope all the kittens find good homes!

Check to see if there is an animal shelter in your community, if so, take the cats there, they shouldn't charge you to take them. It would be cruel to dump the poor things in the park, where they will surely die without the protection of their mother. I don't understand them saying that the kittens would be killed because they are 6 weeks old, that's usually how old some kittens are placed for adoption ( 8 weeks would be the best).

If need be, take the kittens to a shelter in a different city not far from where you live and hopefully they will accept them. Mean while, place an add in the paper to let others know you have kittens for adoption. And, please tell your sister to have the mother cat neutered so she will not have any more unwanted litters to worry about.
Good luck and I hope everything works out well for the kittens and you.

Call the local vets and ask them if they know of any cat rescue groups. Most of them have foster families and can get the kittens a little older to be adopted.

Dumping kittens in the park is the same as killing them outright. Your sister is not the type of person I'd prefer to know. What did she do with the mother cat?

If worse comes to worse, log onto freecycle.com for your community and offer kittens to homes, but make SURE you check to see that the kittens are not going to be snake food, pit bull training fodder, abused or killed.

I was told from a vet that you can't use any flea products on kittens under 12 weeks old, but the vet told me that thing that works the best is Dawn Dishsoap lemon scent. When we first got my kitten he was 6 weeks old and he had fleas. I went and bought the dawn lemon scent soap and gave him a bath once and the fleas were all gone and too this day haven't come back either. I quit buying the expensive flea shampoos and I just bathe both my cats in that and I no longer have fleas. The chemicals in the flea products can hurt your kitten.

well , id be screaming too,, your sis is a cow... these kittens are old enough to eat on their own,, use a small plate and KITTEN FOOD..yes im yelling,, kitten food only,, your vet will also be able to provide vitamin rich milk formula to take the place of mothers milk,, and the vet can give you ideas on where to place them... i think you only need to look after them for 2 more weeks,, put up signs at the local grocery store and around the neighbor hood to get the word out..some might need help in the washing dept. but just run their bums under the tap with a soft cloth,,provide a nice box with towels.. they will curl up with each othe for warmth,,DO NOT use Clumping Litter as they are still to small and it can bind their digestive tracts..RELAX u may find this to be an enjoyable experie nce. have fun

First off, calm down. Your kittens need a warm, comfy place, and some milk formula for CATS. Mostly, the kitten needs warmth, needs to stay out of trouble and needs a good home. So you can set up a cardboard box and put some warm towels and maybe a cusion. you can't use a bowl to feed them- they're old enough to eat solid food, but not old enough to wean. When it's about 7 and a half weeks old, give it water. but for now, you'll need some bottles and a calm composture. you may scare the kittens if you're stressed. Please tell me how it works out

you have got to get the momma cat back. it is so hard to take care of 6 week old kittens. they need fed almost every hour. you cant do it. your sister was very stupid to take the mother. you have got to get the mother back, without her those kitties will die. try to handle not to handle the babies as best as you can. you'll be lucky if the mother will keep taking care of them. for now, get some kitten formula and feed them whenever they seem hungry. its gonna be hard, but you gotta do it if you want them to live.

You should keep them until you find a good home for each of them. If they are not weaned yet, feed them cow milk with bottles (they are not THAT expensive) or get a big plate to feed everyone.
I would like a kitty :)
but where do you live or what? -_-"
Don't let anyone kill your kitties. Or take them away.

Why are you screaming? You do realize that putting everything in "all caps" is considered screaming, don't you?

So get the momma cat back from your sister. Why would she take it?
