i have home XP , how does Quatro Pro differ from excel? What is a Quatro Pro Converter? What do 1.0-5.0 mean, im confused

Quattro Pro is similar to Excel - not quite as pretty to look at and not quite as easy to use.

Quattro pro can handle most all of your spreadsheet needs, it has just never been as popular as Excel. It is now owned by Corel and is like #3 in the spreadsheet market.

The converters are for opening files from one company by another and the numbers are version numbers.
