Everything in the price is included like food, board, and entertainment. Alcohol and soda is not usally included. RCC or NCL are great cruise lines and are great for partying and all around travel. Have fun and good luck.

The price includes your cabin, food, and entertainment aboard the ship. You will pay for your alcoholic drinks, or any specialty restaurants. You will pay extra for your shore excursions.
Cruises leaving from San Francisco area are mostly going to the Mexican Riviera, which is a wonderful cruise.

Everything except beer, cocktails, sodas, shore excursions, and the pictures that their photographers take. You'll have 24 hours of food available, room service, loads of shows and other entertainment. If you gamble of course you pay for that. (unless you win) I once paid $599 for a cruise and won over $400 on video poker. A cruise is a great vacation. I've been on eight and I have another coming up in Nov.

this may be a puzzling one because of the fact which you're describing 2 distinctive styles of ships. often the ships with the main facilities are the relatives (toddler) friendly strains, including Carnival, Royal Caribbean (RCI) and Norwegian (NCL). The ships with the main facilities, Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas, Liberty of the Seas and Independence of the Seas (due out in the spring of 2008) additionally entice an excellent variety of households, which incorporate infants. i improve into on the liberty of the Seas on the top of June 2007. there have been 4200 passengers on board, and approximately 800 - one thousand have been under the age of 18. Ships maximum probably to no longer have infants (Seabourn, Silversea and Regent), have passengers that decide to entertain themselves. as a consequence, those ships, that are high priced, have much less facilities. those ships might basically have one pool plus one useful pool. even however, the foodstuff on those ships is 5 megastar high quality. consequently, i could advise Princess, Holland American Line (HAL) and celeb, exceedingly whilst college is in consultation. HAL and celeb are much less probably to have childrens then Princess, and in actuality won't have any for the time of classic college time. those ships do have greater facilities than Silversea, Seabourn or Regent, have varied swimming pools and greater beneficial foodstuff than Carnival, RCI or NCL.

Typically not included are alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, bottled water, extra cost specialty restaurants, special activities (usually special classes), tips, spa treatments, photos and souvenirs.
Where is what Princess has to say on this subject ...

Your cruise fare includes:

• Personalized service of one Princess staff member for every three passengers
• Gourmet dining
• Las Vegas-style Casinos and Broadway-style shows
• Onboard activities (fresh water pools, deck parties)
• Edutainment / Kids programs
• Gym with exercise classes
• Library and card room
• Nightclub
• Unpack once, visit many destinations
Also available on the ship: (additional charges apply)
• Full service spa & massage therapy
• Beauty salon
• Boutiques & shopping
• Art auctions/galleries
• Shore excursions
• Fitness trainers
• Full Day babysitting service
• Bar drinks
Of all the things not included, the only one that is not optional is the tips at the end of the cruise, which is typically $10 per person per day.
Cruising out of San Francisco you are pretty much limited to Princess and Celebrity. Both are fairly similar in the cruise experience they offer, with perhaps a slight edge to Celebrity.

You could literally go on board, and eat yourself silly and relax for the entire time and not spend a dime. You will however have to set aside 10 or so dollars for tipping at the end but the service is so good that you will find this to be the best bargain you will ever find. If you want to drink, gamble, shore excursions, or Internet you will have to pay for that out of pocket. Once you go you will find it to be a deal that can't be beat. You are treated like royalty for your length of stay. It is simply fabulous! Contact a local travel agent that you can communicate well with they can make some suggestions. I personally like Holland America, my Mother just went on Princess and she liked it a lot. We all went on the RCL Freedom and it was really nice but expect lots and lots of people EVERYWHERE!

Generally cabin, food, drinks (not including alcohol), and entertainment are included.
My best suggestion to you would be to check out the cruise lines websites to find something that will be a perfect fit for you.
Disney is my fave for the record.
