The good part of being a "poquero" is dancing
in a disco and wearing a cap pointing upward.

I looked up the site that Jassy mentioned
and it seems that un poquero is a kind of
Spanish beatnik that loves to dance at discos
and always wears a hat with its tip pointing skyward.
I didn't understand the whole video, but that seemed
to be the gist of it. It also reminded me of
the English "Teddy Boys".

Pedir con gran emoción es emocionante.
To ask with great emotion is thrilling.

The horse is hurrying to get to the stable
because it's terribly hungry.

I have no idea about the remaining sentence,
because I can't find the word "valero" anywhere.
Anyone know what it means?? Maybe you
mean "valeroso" = brave person?

Update: Found a definition of poquero on Jassy's site:

so it seems my explanation above is at least close
to being correct.
