If you sign up on your 18th birthday but you dont turn 18 untill say 11:00pm, can you sign a contract at 12:00 noon? your still 17.

Extra little question, no relivance, but fun.

**if you are serving a life sentance in prision, and you die and a doctor declares you dead. but then you are defiberlated and come back, are you still in jail?**

No, you go to MEPS by yourself.
It doesn't matter what time of the day you were born. As soon as it turns midnight, as far as the military is concerned you're 18.
Don't know about the last one, but I would assume "yes." That's an interesting question though!

In the Marine Corps no way. Once you walk throught that gate at MCRD you little happy A**ss belongs to your D.I. and the Corps not your family. And you are allowed visitors until family day or you graduate unless it is a dire emergency like death in the family.
No can't do that have to wait until the next day when you turn 18 unless your parents are signing for you.

Not like it used to be. Now they bring you back to life your are still a prisoner. Used to be if they hung you and it didn't break your neck and kill you they had to turn you loose because it was considered and act to God that you didn't die. The same held true when being executed before a firing squad. Now they just keep pumping the poison in you until you die.

Your family and friends cannot go with you to MEPS. They can visit you at the hotel, however, they are not allowed into your hotel room.
I believe on the day you turn eighteen, they allow you to sign without the parental signatures. However, talk to your recruiter, it's the best bet.
And yes, you're still in jail even if you're barely alive.

If your parents signed a permission slip, you can sign the contract at 17.
