help with shy guys?

i kinda like this guy, but he is sooo shy. how do i talk to him? without being weird or obvious about liking him?

If you like the guy, why don't you invite him to do something with you and some of your friends. It doesn't need to be anything fancy; you could just go get a pizza, or play miniture golf; but it should be something where you can hang out and talk with each other. Just try to talk with him as a friend; don't try to pick him up yet; if he is really shy, you don't want to appear too aggressive; you might scare him away! When you do talk with him, look at him, smile and be friendly. Give the impression you are a girl a guy could ask out without getting blown off. When he says someting to you, try to appear interested (no matter how boring it might be). If he tells some jokes, make a point to laugh (but don't overdo it, you don't want to look simple-minded!) After a few times going out with friends you should be comfortable with each other's company that there should be little nervousness about asking him to go out to eat or something (you and him alone). If he really is so shy, he will be, like, so happy that a girl actually likes him, he will probably treat you like a queen! If he has never had a girlfriend before, please be patient with him if he does things that annoy you, he might not have any experience being a boyfriend (like what he is supposed to do to keep the girl happy/interested etc. By the way, shy guys can turn out to be absolutely fantastic boyfriends, because they haven't gotten "spoiled" by having girls chasing after them all the time, they are less likely to have the "I'm god's gift to women" attitude.

If he is shy there is no way around being obvious that you like him. You are going to have to take the bull by the horns and wear the pants in this relationship. That means you pretty much have to play the part of the guy. God bless you for that... I was really shy until my senior year of HS. I wish there were more girls like you.

Oh no a shy guy. Don't even worry about being obvious/weird a really shy guy will still be to afraid to make a move. If you think he's worth it------ you have to make the move. Try to get his mom to hook you guys up (just kidding).

just checking who's the shy one here? he's the shy one not you. you should be able to approach him no problem and talk to him like any normal human being. you'll figure it out. It might be a bit weird at first cause like you said..he's shy. but the more you talk to him the more he'll eventually open up. give him time. if he doesnt know you like him and he's shy you can't go too fast it's all new to him, give him time, he'll come around.

Just ask if you can sit by him at lunch or if your out and about walk with him and keep conversation simple and easy. Don't be asking difficult or personal questions. Just make it easy for him to give answers till he opens up. Find out if he likes a certain music group and go from there. Sports,movies gradually add in these things not all at once.
